Rose gold sparkles and washes of watercolor bring today’s featured real wedding to life.
Jenny and Logan were married in September of 2018 at the picturesque Canopy Creek Farm in Miamisburg, Ohio. But this wasn’t your typical burlap and lace country wedding.
Instead, Jenny selected a “pink lemonade” color palette with variations of pink with navy accents. Her style was glamorous with modern, tasteful touches. For her 200-person wedding, Jenny requested the works: Invitation, Reply Card with envelopes, Details Card, Ribbon/Twine, Inner and Outer Envelopes,Envelope Addressing and specialty printing.
Prior to connecting with Ivory House Creative, Jenny struggled to find a stationery suite that matched her personality and taste. We worked together to design a set of wedding stationery all her own. We knew that navy and dusty rose would be the main colors to work with, so we selected a nice white base to balance the design. Keeping it light and fresh was important for Jenny.
Rather than incorporating rose gold foil as initially planned, we decided to include a hint of rose gold sparkle in the belly-bands.This was a cost-effective way to get the sparkle that Jenny wanted! We paired the belly-band with a monogram tag to coordinate with the envelope liners as a signature touch.
Another custom detail we designed together were the ceremony programs. On this piece of stationery, we outlined the couple and their parents, the wedding party, and the day-of schedule. Adding a section to share the timeline of the day with guests was a great way to keep everyone on the same page.
One of the most charming details was “The Story of Us” highlighted on the back of the programs. We detailed various elements of their love story, from the length of their engagement to how many dresses Jenny tried on until she said yes. The sweetest element was the Winne the Pooh quote, which warmly reminded everyone reading that this couple will always be together.
Much like her wedding, Jenny was keen on her wedding stationery holding a timeless appeal. We think the custom details, colorful watercolor accents, and font choice will make this a design to remember.
