Viva Magenta! Is it wrong that I feel like I need to yell that out loud in a very festive manner each time I read it? Hmmmm…just me? Well, Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2023 is definitely a festive and fun color and I have to admit, I’m loving the magenta vibe.
When beginning your wedding planning process, I recommend picking a color scheme of 3 to 5 colors. If you are searching for a place to start in picking colors, Pantone’s color of the year is the perfect place to start.
Pantone states, “Viva Magenta is brave and fearless, and a pulsating color whose exuberance promotes a joyous and optimistic celebration, writing a new narrative.” This description couldn’t be a more perfect description of a color to use for a wedding in 2023. I love the rich tone of magenta and how it can give a stunning accent to a classic color palette, like navy blue or gold.
For wedding stationery, I recommend using Viva Magenta as a beautiful pop of color. Some options could be by having an envelope liner with magenta accents, or a response envelope that is magenta. Finally, I think this color would be perfect for accents like ribbons and belly bands!
