Do you need ongoing design support, but don’t want the overhead of hiring a full-time designer?

My design retainer program is just that! It’s like having a professional designer in your back pocket whenever you need it - within business hours of course. Monthly retainer clients gain brand consistency, peace of mind and of course job priority for your monthly marketing needs.


How does
a design
retainer work...

Think of it as a monthly subscription to my design services.

You pay upfront at the beginning of each month in order to reserve a specific number of hours on my design schedule. This works great for social media graphics, small website updates, marketing materials and the like. It allows you to receive professionally designed materials without the fluctuating fees or deadline constraints.

Based on the retainer package selected, I will block out my schedule with the appropriate amount of time each month and plan my workload accordingly. Design retainer clients not only receive priority of schedule, but a discount for prepaying upfront.

  • Print Materials – sales sheets, direct mailers, brochures, business cards, stationery, signage, etc.

  • Digital Materials – email templates, blog banners and other web graphics/updates.

  • Web Updates and Maintenance - content, graphics and website maintenance. Currently for Squarespace only.

  • Social Media Design – Instagram post or story templates, Pinterest graphics, Facebook advertisements, etc.

  • Additional Services - if you don’t see a service above, please feel free to make a request to see if it would fall under the program.

**Note that each package contains the same design service options, no matter the number of hours selected.

THE FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE NOT INCLUDED, BUT CAN BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY

Stock and/or Brand Photography, Fonts, Logo Design, Branding, Web Design, Social Media Management, Printing or Production


Give Me More Details

  • Each retainer package has a 3 month minimum commitment. At the end of 3 months, we will re-evaluate the program to ensure the number of hours are fitting your business needs. We can then adjust to a 6, 9, or 12 month commitment.

  • Each retainer includes a set number of hours per month. If you acquire any overage in hours during the month, you will be billed at the standard hourly rate at the beginning of the next month.

  • Unused hours expire at the end of each month. This is to ensure that I can allocate time for your projects each month and plan my workload accordingly.

  • At the beginning of each month, you will receive your invoice, payable upon receipt via ACH or credit card. Invoices will include your monthly retainer rate, and any additional charges from previous month where you may have gone over.

  • I will let you know if we are close to hitting your monthly hours. If additional time is needed for the month, you will be made aware before committing to pay extra.

  • For planning purposes, all design requests must be submitted by the first of each month. (i.e. design request for May’s calendar must be submitted by May 1st).
